This is a discounted mobility equipment hire service which enables anyone with either temporary or permanent mobility difficulties to get out and about in the community. Assistance is available for individuals with vision and hearing impairment when booked in advance.

Equipment available includes 3 and 4 wheel power scooters, small or foldable scooters, manual wheelchairs, power wheelchairs and dual control chairs. Full training on equipment is provided before it is hired to members.

Equipment is available from Team Valley, Saltwell Park, Derwent Walk Country Park, Sage Gateshead and the Baltic Centre for Contemporary Art.

Annual membership costs £5.00 per year, day hire is £6.00 and half day hire is £3.00. Equipment is also available for long term hire. Opening hours are Mon-Fri 9am-4pm.
