Service description:Provides a service to children and young people aged 0-18 years who present mental health issues, including those who may have learning difficulties.
The service is able to provide:
• Assessment, diagnosis and intervention on a range of mental health difficulties
• Intensive response and home-based treatment for children and young people whose mental health is causing significant concern
• An intensive Eating Disorder Service
• A transition support package to those approaching their 18th birthday and may need continuing support as adults
• 24 hour access to support via a single point of access
• Training, consultation, support and advice to other professionals working with children and young people e.g. Looked After Children and Care Leavers Services, Social Workers, services working with children with disabilities, paediatric services, substance misuse services, Youth Offending services, Young Carers services etc.
Open times: Operating hours are 8am – 8pm Mo-Fri and on weekends if required. An intensive crisis and home based treatment service operates until 10pm and from 10am – 6pm on weekends and bank holidays, with access to clinical triage and an on-call psychiatrist outside of these hours.
