Service description:
This service offers confidential, friendly advice, help and support from a qualified children’s nurse who specialises in continence problems. An individual continence assessment is carried out to develop a treatment plan which is tailored to the child/young person’s needs. The service supports children and young people up to the age of 19 years old with:

. Persistent bed wetting/ nocturnal enuresis
. Persistent constipation / soiling/ stool withholding
. Day time wetting/Frequent and/or urgent need to use the toilet during the day / overactive bladder
. Delayed toilet training
. Need for prescribed specialist aids and equipment for management of continence
