Service description:
The male suicide prevention charity, the Campaign Against Living Miserably (CALM) offer a FREE helpline, a FREE web-chat service offering support, information and signposting to men who are depressed or in crisis and a website containing information on a range of mental health subjects.

The FREE helpline is open 5pm – midnight, 365 days a year – Tel: 0800 58 58 58 or Text 07537 404717

The FREE web chat service is open every day between 6pm – 9pm from Aug 1st 2014, where users within the UK will be able to chat anonymously and confidentially to trained helpline staff. The web-chat can be accessed via the CALM website: www.thecalmzone.net/get-help The web-chat service hours will be extended to match those of the helpline (5pm – midnight) in the near future.

The CALM website contains a wide range of information about mental health issues like anxiety, depression, stress, bullying, bereavement, eating disorders, self-harm, suicide, racism and bereavement.
