This Service helps children and young people with Speech, Language, Communication and/or eating/drinking difficulties. The team offer assessment and diagnosis which determines the type of intervention (if any) that a child or young person may require. Interventions range from direct therapy (which may be individual or in a group), Home and/or School programmes, advice, training for parents/carers and staff from pre-school and school settings.

Our Services to Mainstream children are predominately delivered at Health Centres and Clinics. Some Pre-school children (particularly those with additional needs) may receive assessment/therapy at home or in their Nursery/Pre-school setting. Children attending Special Schools generally receive therapy in their school setting.
