Service description:
The Think U Know website has been developed by the Child Exploitation and Online Protection (CEOP) Centre and contains a wealth of information about staying safe online, aimed specifically at children and young people of all ages. Information available includes cyberbullying, social networking sites, sexting, mobiles, uploading videos, gaming, chat rooms and Instant Messenger, pro-eating disorder sites, child trafficking and hacking and viruses. There is also information about who to talk to or make a report if a young person is worried about anything they have seen online.

The parent/carer section of the site contains information and advice about what parents can do to ensure their child stays safe when online, including the use of parental controls, reporting tools and the educational programme, aimed to help parents discuss things that can happen when they’re online and what they can do about it.
