Eligibility / referral criteria:
Eligibility criteria and referral processes: Aged 4-19 years, Mild to moderate behavioural and mental health issues, recent changes in a young person that hasd affected their ability to function as adequately as previously. Registered with a Gateshead GP. Primary intervention has not been effective. Parent/carer consent where relevant. Service not provided if another agency is providing intervention or there is a diagnosis such as ADHD or autism. The Team can be contacted by telephone 9.00-5.00pm and accept self referral, parental referral, schools and other professionals.

The Emotional Well Being Team is made up of Primary Mental Health Workers who work with children, young people and their families to develop and encourage emotional health and well being.
