Service description:
Providing outdoor well being activities for adults from the Tyne and Wear and surrounding areas. Offering a range of stimulating and healthy activities to help sustain and develop good mental and physical health.

Operating with charitable aims to help improve and alleviate poor health of adults in the community through active, enjoyable, accessible, social and educational outdoor activities. Some of our services are either free of charge or low cost to help those in need access and benefit from our activities.

WinG Outdoor Activities can trace it's roots back to the 1980's when it was part of Gateshead Youth Service known as Wayout in Gateshead hence the name WinG. Now re-organised and more effectively managed, WinG Outdoor Activities continue the cause of helping people in the North East to explore, connect, learn and grow through outdoor activities.
