| Service description: | Gateshead, Newcastle, North Tyneside and South Tyneside councils, and their respective housing organisations, have joined together to make it easier to access housing options available across these areas.
After registering on the website, applicants are able to apply for social housing across the region rather than filling out different forms for each authority area. Applicants can search for homes and bid for properties using the time built up being on the housing register.
When completing a questionnaire online applicants will receive information about the housing opportunities available across Tyne and Wear and more detailed advice on a range of services available in their preferred local authority area.
