| Service description: | Description: Children’s physiotherapists work with children and young people up to the age of 19 years to provide a programme of exercises, activities and other treatments to help improve their movement, strength and coordination and to help the body to develop and work properly. Children’s abilities are assessed and reviewed at the children’s physiotherapy department and advice is given on how parents and carers can help their child. Services are provided at home, nursery, children’s centres, mainstream and special schools.
