| Service description: | This is a short breaks service for carers, which includes those with children and young people with physical disabilities, learning disabilities or behavioural disorders.
Carer support workers are available to give carers a break from the day to day stresses of caring. The type and length of support available is flexible and can be provided for a three hour period or longer; for example an overnight stay or weekend and is based on what is needed. Support can be provided for individual carers but also families who are sharing responsibility for caring.
Services are provided 24 hours a day, 7 days a week by fully trained support workers and the service is registered with the Care Quality Commission (currently rated Excellent
