| Service description: | Hear to Help Gateshead is a FREE service ran by Action on Hearing Loss that helps people make the most of their hearing aids and manage their hearing loss effectively.
They carry out simple checks on hearing aids, refer people to their GP if necessary, give advice and training on correct maintenance and fitting and help fit new batteries or tubing. Follow up support and guidance is provided in order to help people become more confident with their aids by providing technical support and training.
