Apply for a school place
You can apply online for your child's school place if you live in Gateshead and your child is due to start at a primary, junior or secondary school in September 2018.
If you do not live in Gateshead, you can’t use this system. You must contact your home local authority about their application process.
You will need to create an account if you haven’t used the system before. If you are an existing user and have a password, you can log in to apply online.

Check eligibility for free early education and childcare for two year olds
You can use this system to check if your two year old is eligible for a free education and childcare place at a day nursery, pre-school or with a childminder if you live in Gateshead.
You will need to create an account if you haven’t used the system before. If you are an existing user and have a password, you can log in to check your child's eligibility online.

The eligibility check is based on economic criteria and you will need your National Insurance (NI) or NASS number to complete the check.
